Daiane holds a bachelor's degree in Film from UFSC (Federal University of Santa Catarina) and has worked in the audiovisual industry for approximately five years. They have experience as a cinematographer and camera assistant, editing, color grading, and screenwriting. They're the co-founder of Argiréia Produções, where she develops original projects and collaborates on various stages of the filmmaking process.

Their research and production interests include themes related to the environment, the climate emergency, and dissident and queer existences, investigating the relationships between these issues.
